UFC Rashad Evans

Have you ever broken up with a girl and she ended up turning into the ultimate stalker? Regardless of where you went, she would magically appear to question your whereabouts?

Well, it appears Spike TV has become the UFC’s unwanted ex. With tickets for “UFC on FOX: Evans vs. Davis” hitting the box offices today, the Octagon’s former home of freebie fights has announced they intend to counter-program the January 28th show by broadcasting “UFC Unleashed: Evans vs. Davis” on the same day.

Spike is offering up an eight-hour marathon of old Octagon action to combat the live scraps airing in the UFC’s return to FOX.

FOX’s broadcast begins live at 8PM ET/5PM PT, while Spike’s shows will run from 4PM to midnight.

Just in case you were wondering, the UFC’s new deal with FOX officially kicks off on January 1st, 2012. However, a Spike TV representative informed 5thRound.com that the network still has access to “The Ultimate Fighter,” “UFC Unleashed” and various “UFC Fight Nights” and pay-per-view footage through December 31st, 2012.

Here’s what the “UFC Unleashed: Evans vs. Davis” marathon includes:

4PM ET/re-airs at 9PM PT – UFC Unleashed – Michael Bisping vs. Jorge Rivera

5PM ET/re-airs 10PM PT – UFC 137 – Phil Davis vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

7PM ET/4PM PT – UFC Unleashed – Chael Sonnen vs. Renato Sobral (UFC 55)
