After hosting a less than spectacular show in their follow-up event under new ownership, ProElite looks to make amends on January 21st when Kendall “Da Spyder” Grove meets Ikuhisa Minowa inside the Neal Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Grove made quick work of veteran Joe “Diesel” Riggs in his last outing. It took the former UFC fighter all of 59 seconds to submit “Diesel” with a guillotine choke this past August.

Minowa made his claim to MMA fame in Japan, performing in some of the most entertaining scraps the country has ever witnessed. Of the “The Punk’s” 35 wins, 51 have come by way of submission. This contest marks his North American debut.

It appears the company is looking to dub the event, “ProElite: Da Spyder vs The Punk.”

The card also features the semifinals of the organization’s Heavyweight Grand Prix. Cody Griffin meets Ryan Martinez in one tourney pairing, while Jake Heun faces Richard Odoms on the other end of the brackets.

HDNet will broadcast the card’s main bouts live beginning at 10PM ET/7PM PT.

Here are the athletes slated to appear in “ProElite 3” thus far:

Heavyweight Grand Prix Semifinals:

Cody Griffin vs. Ryan Martinez

Jake Heun vs. Richard Odoms

Main Event:

Kendall Grove vs. Ikuhisa Minowa
