On Tuesday, the California State Athletic Commission overturned Mackens Semerzier’s (Pictured) controversial TKO loss to Robert Peralta at “UFC on FOX” to a no contest.

“Ok people we’re here for @MackDaMenaceMMA hearing to overturn loss to no contest!! I hope they get it right!!!” SuckerPunch Entertainment tweeted.

Moments later, Semerzier’s representatives confirmed the verdict following the hearing, “WE GOT IT!!! @MackDaMenaceMMA vs Peralta officially turned over to NO CONTEST! Rematch!”

During last month’s featherweight battle inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, Semerzier was rocked in the 3rdRound with what appeared to be a right hand. The fight was called after Peralta unleashed numerous shots to his dazed opponent’s dome.

However, the replay showed Semerzier took the brunt end of an accidental and illegal headbutt and that’s what caused him to drop.

Many had their hotly-contested 145-pound affair knotted up at one round apiece heading into the final stanza.
