According to reports, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will be making his Octagon debut at UFC 105 in Manchester, England. Little Nog holds a 17-3 career record, with most of his battles coming against some of the world’s best fighters during his time with Pride and Affliction Entertainment.
Fighter’s Only states that Little Nog has inked a deal to join his twin brother, former UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, as an employee for the world’s best MMA organization.
The talented Brazilian is currently riding a five-fight winning streak and was on-hand to witness his bro dominate UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture at UFC 102 this past weekend.
Just days before he faced Couture, Big Nog stated that it was just a matter of days before he and his brother would be working together again.
“He’s coming to the UFC very soon,” Big Nog said. “[UFC officials] are going to announce that. I don’t know when. They’ve already talked to him, so for sure he’s coming to the UFC.”
The 33-year-old turned pro in 2002 and has been considered one of the planet’s best 205-pounders since. He holds two wins over current Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem, while also defeating Dan Henderson, Guy Mezger and Kazushi Sakuraba.
No official word from the UFC regarding the signing or who Little Nog might be fighting, however word is the show will be held inside the Manchester Evening News Arena and will be made available for free via same-day-tape delay on Spike TV.
