They say the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Well, UFC president Dana White (pictured) believes the best way to get his fighters to stay within the politically correct lines is through their wallets.

After docking two of his athletes substantial amounts of money for their insensitive remarks towards the GLBT community, most recently Nate Diaz for using the three-letter F-word, White is demanding change and he knows the most effective way to produce results.

“I am fed up with the [BS],” White stated during Thursday’s media gathering. “One thing that I have noticed is, money makes people [expletive] react real quick.

“Sorry’s great. I love a sorry here and there, sorrys are always good. It’s easy to say sorry, but when you’ve got to start forking out some cash, you start remembering a lot more.”

Some accused White of being a hypocrite for fining Diaz and Matt Mitrione for their rants when he used the F-word in public not so long ago himself. White says the difference is he now understands that certain magic words should never be uttered.

“I saw a lot of things online and things being said about when I used to word – do you think that I didn’t pay in a million different ways for saying that word?” White asked. “The difference is I’m actually really sorry for saying it.

“I am not a homophobe, whatsoever. When I said it – I have people that work for us that are gay, I have friends that are gay – it is a word that bothers them and it’s a word that shouldn’t have been said. I had the same argument that Nate had, and I don’t disagree with that argument in that I grew up in the ’80s. That was the word you used. … That’s the way it was, we’ll it’s not that way anymore. It’s an offensive word that they don’t like and people want to call it, ‘Oh, we’re bowing down to political correctness.’ No we’re not, we’re being civil human beings.”

Diaz’s defense for using the F-word is that on the mean streets of his hometown of Stockton, “f*g” is the equivalent to calling someone a wussy.

Diaz was docked $20,000 and suspended 90 days for his comment, while Mitrione was fined an undisclosed amount for blasting transgender fighter Fallon Fox.

Well, it’s not quite the million dollars Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant donated towards tornado relief efforts in Oklahoma, but UFC welterweight James Head (pictured) is still digging deep into his pockets to do his part.

Head, who was born in Illinois but fights out of OKC, has promised to donate nearly all of the money he’s guaranteed to make in his next fight to help the victims in this week’s tornado in Oklahoma.

“Stoked to announce that I’m going to donate my next @ufc fight purse and 100% of all profits from @CF_Athletic #Pray4OK tee to benefit #Oklahoma tornado victims!” Head tweeted Friday morning.

Head was TKO’d by Mike Pyle in his most recent fight. The 29-year-old made a reported $12,000 to show, so Head’s next UFC paycheck will be at least that amount.

He was slated to battle Nick Catone last month at UFC 159, but Catone was forced withdraw on game day because of dehydration after failing to make weight. Head currently does not have a bout lined up.

Who knows when Jon Jones’ mangled toe will allow him to return to the Octagon, but it’s getting pretty clear who the reigning UFC light heavyweight king would like to make his next title defense against.

After steamrolling Chael Sonnen at UFC 159, Jones has repeatedly said he’s got his sights set on Alexander Gustafsson.

Why “The Mauler?” Because Jones is sick of hearing critics complain that he continues to beat up on smaller opponents.

Gustafsson possesses similar weight, height, reach and length as Jones. Gustafsson and his team releasing a Harlem Shake video that featured his friends holding up signs that read ”Jon Jones You Are Next” didn’t help matters, either.

To reinforce the message, Gustafsson took to Twitter Friday morning to let Jones know he was still on his mind.

“Its on @JonnyBones cant wait to get in that cage with YOU!!!” Gustafsson tweeted.

To which Jones promptly responded, “Fighting me is not good for your image @AlexTheMauler FYI.”

During Thursday’s media gathering, UFC president Dana White said Jones could be out anywhere from “six weeks to six months” because of his dislocated toe. How quickly the ligaments heal will likely determine Gustafsson’s fate.

If Jones is forced to sit the sidelines for a half a year, Gustafsson will have to take another fight in the interim, perhaps a top contender bout against former champ Lyoto Machida.

Last Saturday’s fight between Luke Rockhold (pictured) and Vitor Belfort was obviously fixed – so say a handful of conspiracy theorists.

According to these very suspicious MMA observers, Rockhold gave Belfort a subtle head nod a split second before “The Phenom” unleashed a spinning heel kick that essentially end their shootout. The nod was a clear sign Rockhold was ready to eat the pre-planned highlight reel strike - so say a handful of conspiracy theorists.

Belfort has yet to address rigging the bout, but Rockhold took to his Twitter Wednesday to kill the ridiculous chatter.

“Hearing some talk about my fight with Belfort being a fix,” Rockhold tweeted. “No amount of money would make me even consider taking a fall. I got caught I lost.”

I have thoroughly examined the kick several times since this conspiracy theory came to light. While Rockhold does nod his head, it’s a motion fighters do all the time and I believe it was a coincidence that he ate the kick a moment later.

What is the benefit of fixing this particular fight? Who paid off who (Belfort to Rockhold, UFC to Rockhold)?

You be the judge:

Overeem is looking to bounce back from February’s devastating knockout loss to Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva at UFC 156. It was “The Demolition Man’s” first fight after serving a nine-month testosterone suspension.

Browne, meanwhile, rebounded nicely from the lone blemish on his résumé by putting Gabriel Gonzaga to sleep last month. “Hapa” lost to Silva in his prior outing.

TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts hosts the gig. FOX Sports 1 airs the main card live beginning at 8PM ET/5PM PT.

Here are the athletes expected to perform in Beantown thus far:

Conor McGregor vs. TBD

Joe Lauzon vs. Michael Johnson

Matt Brown vs. Thiago Alves

Alistair Overeem vs. Travis Browne

What? I thought Matt Serra (pictured) was already retired? That’s probably what most mixed martial arts fans were asking when they heard the former UFC welterweight champion has decided to “walk away” from MMA.

On April 5, the 39-year-old spent four days in the emergency room to have a rib removed. Serra told NewsDay that was the telltale sign that it was over, although it’s still a tough pill to swallow.

“It’s hard to say it,” Serra stated. “It’s like you can’t say it, even though it probably is true. I would love to put closure on my career with one last fight at the Garden, but at the same time, if that doesn’t happen, I definitely consider myself done. It’s hard to say the ‘R word.’ I might never say the ‘R word.’

“I really think I’m walking away. I’m going to be 39, I just had my rib taken out. I’m having my third kid. My schools are doing well. What am I doing, looking for another pay day? It’s not really for that. I mean, it doesn’t stink, but it’s not really for that. Am I still trying to hold on for the glory? Glory is a drug, dude. I’m telling you, that’s the problem. It really is. I know why guys can’t walk away. I absolutely get it.”

Serra exits stage left as one of the sport’s most recognizable and likable fighters. He owns a modest 11-7 professional record, with his claim to MMA fame essentially starting in 2006 when he won “The Ultimate Fighter 4″ to earn next dibs at then- (and current) welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre.

“The Terror” proceeded to serve up one of the biggest upset specials in UFC history by beating GSP, who was as high as a 16-to-1 odds-on favorite at some sportsbooks. St-Pierre went on to throttle Serra in their rematch and has defended the title eight times since.

Serra was last seen losing a unanimous decision to Chris Lytle at UFC 119 in September 2010.

Serra owns and operates Serra BJJ Academy in New York with his brother, Nick. They currently have two locations and house a bevy of UFC talent, including top contender middleweight Chris Weidman.

The trio will be featured in a 16-page spread in “UFC 360″ magazine. Celeste, the UFC’s queen been, dons the cover of the mag.

Strikeforce transfers Vanessa Hanson and Chrissy Blair, let’s just call them “The B-Squad” for now, also make cameos in the magazine and video.

Celeste and Palmer resume their card toting duties this Saturday when they’ll be circling the Octagon at UFC 160. I mean, how else would fans know which round was forthcoming if they weren’t there to do their thang?
