|
|
| Does MMA needs an OWN Scoring System and should it revised its Scoring Criteria?..we know what happened when the Decision will come to the Judges hands like in the Griffin/Jackson fight and IMO I think MMA should apply its own scoring system which is like its adapting to the framework of boxing and revised its existing scoring criteria so that it will be more clear and acceptable to the public to who really won the fight |

The funny thing is, they point all that out at the begining of all the UFC's: Octagon control, aggression, etc. But I think that the judges all are weighing things differently. Obviously, the one that saw forrest winning 4 out of 5 rounds was giving more weight to aggression since he was throwing more stikes.
Also, I believe they are starting to use Boxing judges for MMA fights, which isn't a good thing. |

| It is starting to turn into boxing, and I don't like it. They need to get these judges in a class and school them on what are points and what aren't. of course it is up to interpretation, so all three judges will see things differently, but UFC 86 was a joke |

I agree a hundred percent. Boxing judges should have no place beside an octagon |

| Boxing judges have more experience than MMA judges. They should be allowed to do both as long as they get trained. I think that people are making far too much out of the judging. If the fighters fight, then the judges won't even matter. |

I agree that the fighters should worry more about finishing fights. I think that boxing judges should stick to boxing because it is a completely different sport. You know how MMA Judges get experience????? By fucking Judging MMA bouts. If there were less boxing judges judging MMA bouts, the MMA judges could get that experience |

Of course in a perfect world, no fights would go to the judges, but lets get real. It is going to happen, even if both fighters "fight." Are you saying that in Griffin vs Bonnar 1, they didn't fight since it went to a decision? Right |
