| I thought that it didn't live up to expectations. A lot of the fights were kinda boring, outside of Fedor and Barnett, it was wack. |

| I thought it was ok. There were some big names on there, but they could have done it where more of them fought each other. |

| it was alright. Barnett looked awesome. And i was so damn glad Andre beat the shit out of the overrated fat guy named Big Ben. Quicksand looked impressive. Terry Martin got KO'd through the ropes. It was a 70% on my scale. |

that's jist it,70% against the UFC just won't cut it. |

The problem was the production quality. The camera angles were not nearly as good as the UFC. The lighting was also poor. Oh, and the ring just doesn't compare to the cage. I hated how time would be wasted pulling the fighters back into the ring. For me, it interrupted the flow of the fights.
The fights themselves were pretty good, but for whatever reason, I had trouble getting fired up about them. |

What's odd is in other promotions that use rings, fighters don't fall through the ropes as much as they did at Affliction. I wonder why that was.
I do agree the lighting was kinda bad, but that was a great show from a start up organization. |

No offense intended but what did you guys find boring?????
MMA is MIXED Martial Arts.
I thought the fights were good. The guys went out to win.
Did you watch the UFC show????? Nothing too interesting there!
But anyway, as a promoter you can only really predict what the fight will intail and I thought the match ups were good.
I hope Affliction goes from strength to strength. |

Welcome the the 5thRound forums, longp1! Lets get some good debate going in here. I didn't think that FN14 was that good either. Vera winnin in a decision certainly didn't help. Outside of Silva and Edgar, I could have gone without that card.
I thought that there were 3-4 good fights on Affliction, some were ok and others were boring. You can't win em all. I thought Babalu's fight was wack. |

the last three fights saved the night. everything after the belfort fight put me to sleep. |
