Wow, this is the most blatant duck job that MMA has ever seen. The VP of the organization is calling out a champion for not just declining a fight, but not even returning their calls for the fight. Then he has to publically set a 24-hour time table? What a joke

| Like the article is saying, he could just be playing mind games with Diaz, knowing that he has a win over him and Diaz is acting a fool trying to get a rematch. We all know that the Diaz brothers aren't the sharpest tools in the shed |

| Diaz is an idiot, and Shaw is an idiot. ProElite makes MMA look like big time wrestling. All Shaw and his dumbass company care about is ratings, they dont want the #1 contender in the ring, if they did Nick Diaz's name wouldnt even be mentioned right now. They know Diaz draws people to watch, so they threaten the champ and force him to fight someone he has already beat and would have nothing to gain from? Thats stupid, and another example of how a MMA company should NOT be run. |

Exactly! This agent is walking around like he's got big balls now, but he really has no say in who the no. 1 contender is. We'll see who wears the pants really soon when Noons either gets the title stripped from him or caves in and fights, and I think evenutally loses to, Diaz. |

I think that is one of the primary reasons that he doesn't want a rematch. He knows that that win over Diaz justifies his young career as an MMA fighter, instead of just a boxer. He won the fight on a cut, that doesn't REALLY count. I mean, props to him that he was able to cut Diaz twice, but it's not like he TKO'ed or submitted him. |

he beat Diaz, convincingly, and Shaw knows Diaz draws tv numbers, and Shaw has been up Diaz's ass for a while now. I mean look at that last guy Diaz fought, that dude was a freakin can. Now he calls himself the #1 contender after beatin up some dude from the streets? come on now, we already have one Kimbo. |

he's the only guy showing class, elitexc can't strip him because he won't fight diaz. he's already defended his title against yves, so they can't say he's inactive. |

I can look at ls18's top fighters and tell he knows his shit...he's got some pride guys now in the ufc and some other good fighters... anyhow just wanted to say hell yeah Diaz is legit...both the brothers are completely legit...cesar gracie? um nick i believe was promoted to black belt, that is as legit as u get fella....cesar gracie black belt in bjj. and nick has nasty hands, he has stood up with the best, he stood with lawler in a ufc fight just to prove a point and knocked him out... im a big fan of both diaz brothers as fighters and to say they aren't legit is crazy. Diaz if he gets the chance will take noons out. |

| exactly, Diaz knocked Lawler out to pove he could, now every is riding Lawler and shit talking Diaz, Lawler could be a good fighter if he fought some top tier guys, Scoot Smith is fun to watch, hardly top tier though. Diaz bea Gomi, fair enough he was off his tits at the time but he still went through an absolute war with him and won, that's pretty impressive. |

that "win" agianst Gomi is the only legit thing that Diaz has done within the last couple of years. To me, he is just a hood rat that fights MMA. He will never be a top 5 fighter in my eyes. Why do you think the UFC got rid of him and doesn't want him back? |
