Funny how in other divisions fighters have to wait forever to get a title shot. They get srewed out of one, they get injured and have to wait even loger. But here is Lesnar, and in his third UFC fight, after posting a 1-1 record, gets a shot at Randy. Strange.

However, good to see Randy back and this whole ordeal behind us.

I actually wouldn't mind having Lesnar around. He could be a decent HW, and lord knows that the UFC needs them. But I certainly don't want him beating Couture. It would make a mockery of the sport.

Only way, at the moment, Lesnar can beat anyone is by laying and pounding for a bit, but I doubt he can do that to Randy so should be a test of weather or not he is actually a pussy or a poser. As Dana would say.

How the fuck would Brock beating Randy make a mockery of the sport?? Brock is a freakish athlete! You fucking idiots have to remember Brock was an amature wrestler for 20 years way before he was in WWE. This is a kid who grew up and came from a poor farm family, went as far as he could with his amature wrestling career and then was offered a 7 figure contract with WWE, what would you do?? Now that there is a sport that brock can do great at, these so called MMA fans do nothing but talk shit, you're pathetic. What are you gonna do if Brock wins huh? Stop watching mma fights?? I like to watch exciting fights, and there isn't anybody that puts on more exciting fights then UFC. I hope brock wins and continue to wins. As far as him having a shot at couture after only having 3 fights I think is phenomenal! Obviously people who are better then you feel he is good enough to fight for the title......keep watching losers and think about shit before you speak! Can't wait for the Fedor-Couture fight!! I'm going to make a prediction here...........Brock wins via TKO referee stoppage due to strikes in the 2nd round........come on pussy's, bring on the comments!!

I agree with G-Rush on this one. Lesnar getting a title shot with a 1-1 record in the UFC is a joke. That speaks more to how weak the division is than how "good" Lesnar is.

Also, I played hopscoth for 10 years as an amateur, they project me as a late 1st round pick in this years NFL draft!!!!

You know what, I will agree with you on the fact that it is kind fucked that he has only had 3 fights and is getting a title shot if you agree with me that if he wins it's because he is that good and will give him the respect that he deserves!! Do we have an agreement?

One more point I'd like to make.........I didn't hear anyone complaining about the fact that anderson silva came to the ufc, fought 1 fight against chris leben(BFD) and got a title shot after that............look where he is now!

Silva had compiled a 16-4 MMA record after he beat Leben. He had already fought and beat some legit and accomplished fighters Pride. That would be 17 more professional fights than Lesnar had before he got a title shot.

See the difference. I'll tell you what, if he does beat Couture, sure. I'll admit that he is pretty good, in fact good enough to be champion. But the best he looked was against Herring. Yes, Heath "I can't win two fights in a row to save my life" Herring.

There is a difference in talent levels between Herring and Couture, and Lesnar will get exposed.

Dana's plan to make Brock Lesnar the official "Face of the UFC" has suddenly taken a shortcut. Not only does he get Brock into the title picture, but he gets Capt. America back in the octagon with him! This is the biggest fight in MMA history, regardless of Lesnar's record or Randy's age. The PPV sales will set records, average Joe's will tune in to see that guy that used to wrestle fight Randy Couture, and Dana and friends will bank off this fight like no company has ever done before. I must give it to the UFC, whoever thinks up these ideas and marketing strategies needs a f'ing raise!
