| i don't think after tonight's stunning win that it should automatically give him a title shot, but it definitely puts him in the mix. i think he needs one more good win over a top-level fighter to earn that right. maybe against either machida or wanderei? |

| My opinion on this is that if Liddell would have won I guarantee he would be getting a title shot. (Keep in mind, I am not a fan of Rashad Evans) Rashad KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT HIM and took very little damage....he deserves a title shot as much as anyone at 205. I for sure see him getting a title shot at forrest after that performance. I have one question though.....what was with Rashad doing the nipple thing before the fight?? Somebody explain please lol! |

Let me ask you this: Who deserves it more than Rashad? The only guy I can even consider is Machida.
Rashad is 7-0-1 in the UFC and in his last fight knocked out Chuck Liddel in one punch. That's much better than Forest's record when he got his title shot. Forest can't wait around. He needs a fight in Dec. I think Rashad is a great opponent for him. Ultimate Fighter I vs. Ultimate Fighter II champion. |

| Rashad went through last night untouched basically, so if he could get a camp together and not waste time, he could be ready for December... Let's hope so, as 5thRound.com will be there in Las Vegas. |

| I think he needs another good win over top level competition, everybody is forgetting that this is his first elite level win, Bisping was never an elite 205-er. |

Before the fight, I thought that he shouldn't get one if he won. But the way he won yesterday, it is tought ot deny. If he would have knocked Chuck out without dominating the fight like he did, then I wouldn't have been convinced. But since he dominated the exchanges, then knocked him out, he should. Plus Dana already said that he will get it.
I wonder if it will be the main event for new year's eve? |
