I thought he was going to fight in January for Affliction. if he's fighting on new year's eve in japan, that would make it pretty hard to fight only 19 days later...

Maybe he isn't gonna fight for Affliction. They haven't made that official yet. I bet that he would be more loyal to Japan than Affliction, but I would imagine who his opponents would be would play a key role in his decision.

He always fights in Japan for New Year's, so I don't see why this would be any different. Affliction doesn't mean shit to him.

It is interesting that GSP said Fedor was the best pound for pound in the world. Has the myth and the legend of Fedor also influenced the fighters to believe Fedor is the man, or do fighters actually believe it. I am curious if that is the political answer or the truth sometimes.

There is no way that he is the best Pound for pound in the world. he hasn't fought that great of competition. Sure he beat Sylvia pretty easily, but Sylvia is a chump now. He needs to beat Arlovski, Barnett and Couture, then we can talk about him being the best p4p
