Wow, these are some huge allegations that Petruzelli first made. It is funny that he later retracted what he said, clearly EliteXC got to him after his radio interview. I believe every word of his initial interview. Great coverage 5thRound!

| I don't think it was fixed. Kimbo would have killed him either way if Petruzelli didn't land that lucky punch. Petruzelli is a joke and will never be heard from again. |

Regardless of what you think about Petruzelli, he absolutely WILL be heard from again. He just won a fight on national television against the promotion's golden boy. If they bury him, that makes his win over Kimbo look even worse. If they still want to promote Kimbo, it would be in their best interests to promote Petruzelli so it will look as though a top fighter beat Kimbo. |

| Regardless, because of the controversy he stirred up, he will be heard of for a few more months. MMA has been clean of fixing fights, unlike boxing, so if EliteXC is tainting it, there is something going to be done about it. |

| Kimbo should have been paid both fighters' purses for taking the fight. He was the reason that people came to watch, and the main reason why people tuned in. For risking what he did, he should have been rewarded. Kimbo is the man. |

I cant believe you. You have to be joking. The guy has heavy hands and is a brawler thats it. He is famous for fighting Bums on the Street. He should have never been there in the first place. Im so glad he got knocked out. |

Kimbo isn't a joke. He was just overhyped. We knew that, it isn't new news. He got caught, he wasn't destroyed. I like Kimbo, but the fact is that it isn't his fault that Elite XC put the hype machine behind him. Seth is an experienced fighter who has fought some tough opponents. Kimbo who is still very green found himself in an unfamiliar situation, with a fighter who is well versed, who had a strong background in karate, good strikes, and Kimbo didn't have time to prepare. I think Kimbo still isn't ready for Main Events, but it IS the reason why people tune in to CBS. I don't think anybody should call Kimbo a joke, and people shouldn't call Seth a joke either. Kimbo is taking this business seriously, and he is training hard to get better. There may be a day where he is regarded as a top 10 heavyweight, but that is going to take work.
However, what has been answered is that without a shadow of a doubt, what has been argued on this board previously....Brock Lesnar is a far superior MMA fighter than Kimbo.
And once again, EliteXC is a horribly run, and going to fail promotion. Just like it's bed buddy promotion Affliction.

It will take a long ass time before he is considered a top 10 HW. He needs to fight against better guys that get better, and Elite isn't going to risk him, especially after that loss. |

| Kimbo will be a top 5 HW, just wait and see. Everyone loses and this is just one for him. Not a big deal, he will be back. |

| Wow...What happened to this place since I've been gone? Why the hell is everyone on Kimbo's nutts? The man is a failure. Period. He has a big punch and pretty much that is where it ends. He will never be a top 10 HW. Hell, I'd bank my yearly salary that any and all of the UFC HW's would take him apart. |

| I don't think that Kongo would be Kimbo. I don't think Mir would be Kimbo and I don't think he could beat Lesnar, but give Randy a good run |
