I think that people are looking past Rashad too much. I think that Chuck is in some trouble and Rashad is gonna beat his ass and get a title shot.

Unless Rashad's stand up is 1000 times improved, there is no way that he can take Chuck. He won't be able to depend on his wrestling, as even at this point in his career, Chuck isn't easy to get down.

Evans is a good fighter but he's out-matched in this fight. His stand-up is nowhere near Liddell's and he could never dream of having the knockout power that Liddell has. That said, he's going to have to rely on his wrestling to see if he can find a way to get Liddell on his back.

No, but Jardine has better stand up than Rashad. Rashad depends on his wrestling to win fights, Jardine just perfected his kicks agianst Chuck and that won him the fight.

Unless Rashad gets stand up from somewhere, this fight isn't going to be close. Rashad will look like Tito did against Chuck

I agree, if Rashad comes out like he did against Tito, he is done. He needs to have some of what Jardine was training on to be successful. Those kicks were devastating and kept Chuck off balance. That might be the key to beating him. Use that distance and damage his plant leg

I agree. Jardine wasn't the best match up for Chuck. Rashad is the perfect match up. I don't see any way Rashad can win, and I am a Rashad Evans fan.

Sucks that Rashad couldn't have fought Chuck after his losses to Rampage and Jardine. That was the most vulnerable that Chuck has been in the UFC. Now it looks like he has his confidence back.

Sorry, "Sugar," but looks like you are finally getting an "L"

The one thing that Rashad does have going for him is that Jackson is training him. He has shown through GSP that he can come up with some solid game plans. Also, he trained Jardine to beat Chuck. But other than that, forget it.

To be fair though, doesn't matter how good a game plan you have if your not good enough to fully execute it, GSP is a physical freak, Jardine is just a freak fighter to train for because he's unorthodox, Rashad...isn't.

evans could use his speed against a slower and older liddell. maybe extending the fight into the 3rd round would cause liddell to make some mistakes? i don't know.
