| I think that Chuck would take him. Their stand up war would be sick to watch, but Chuck can get him down if needed, like he did against Wandy. But Chuck is the ultimate counter-puncher, and I don't know how many times he will be able to counter if Silva lands on him |

| G-Rush - You think Liddel would take him on the ground? Someone needs to watch the Silva/Lutter fight and do a little research, Anderson is a BJJ black belt, Chuck...isn't. Chuck would have a good chance if he stuck to counter punching but for 3 rounds against another counter puncher, he'd get bored and go foreward, thats when Anderson would kill him. |

I saw the fight. I also saw Lutter get Silva in a full mount. If Lutter can get him in that position, Chuck can. He has great wrestling, but never uses it for offense. Only to sprawl, but if he needs to he can get guys down. Silva has shown that his weakness is takedown defense. If Chuck gets him down, he will outweight him by at least 15 pounds come fight time. That is a huge difference. |

Didn't people say that about Hendo?
That he was a bigger, stronger, better wrestler and Anderson still tooled him?
I like chuck, hes a great fighter, but a better striker than Silva? A better wrestler than Hendo or Lutter? |

| I don' think Chuck is a better wrestler than Hendo, but certainly better than Lutter. I just can't forget Silva getting full mounted by that guy. If he had any finishing power, he should have won that night. |

I can't believe that he even let a loser like Lutter get him in that position. Imagin if a fat ass Chuck was on him like that...it might be lights out for him |

| That takes a pretty big imagination though, think Chuck could get him there? |

| first ...yeah lutter is a loser, he fucked up and didnt make weight for that fight, but he got silva into that position because he is pretty damn good on the ground, actually he's nasty as hell on the ground besides that he's shit...got lucky and knocked out old whats his name before the silva fight thats it. but chuck i just don't think can take silva ...dan henderson i thought was the best match up for AS. and that fight showed me how devastating silva was...hendo was in great shape and did well first round, but silva is a striker the likes we havent ever seen and he is a black belt in bjj....he is an extremely tough matchup for anyone in the world. I think the best chance anyone has is...a great puncher with big power catches him on the chin....we will see it eventually but I don't know how long it will be...because Anderson Silva is just sick. I would like to see him stay at 205 and couture cut to 205. |

| Couture would et murdered, not fighting for however long and coming back to beat Timmay is a completely different kettle of fish to coming back and fighitng Silva. For one Silva can actually fight. |

Or we can give him a rematch againt Ryo Chonan and he can bust the flying heel hook again. Apparently, Silva has no defense for it. |
