Will it be for the title?
Does Randy still count as champ? |

I think they might do an interim champ for him. That would be the only fair thing to do for him and Nog. Then if he wins, he could fight winner of Nog/Mir to unify, unless the Fedor fight happens at the beginning of 09 |

| Good question. I hadn't thought about that. I'm thinking no. They are going to lift the "Interim" tag off of Nog's title. Randy hasn't defended his title for over a year, so I think he'll be stripped of his title. Plus, I don't think the UFC will allow Randy to be in a title fight w/ only one fight on his contract. I also don't think Randy cares about the title. He just wants to get the fight over with so he will be free of the UFC and allowed to fight Fedor. |

Well it looks like if he goes back to the UFC , it will be under a new 3 fight deal. Also, there seems to be legit talk about the UFC and M-1 making something happen. I think that for the UFC's sake, they shouldn't have Randy as the champ when he fights Fedor. Then they can still claim to have the best HW in the world if he loses. Granted Fedor is the best HW in the world, but you know how Dana is. "Fedor is one of the top 5 HWs in the world." |

| im sure youve read it elsewhere, Randy vs Lesnar possible in Nov. Randy still has the belt, so im unsure what the hell they are gonna do about that. to be honest, who gives a crap. Randy vs Brock? are you kidding me? thats gonna be the biggest ppv EVER! then if Randy should get past Brock(not a guarantee by any stretch) he will be free of his UFC contract and will fight Fedor is early 2009. damn im pumped to see these fights! |

| Okay, so the word is Randy has been offered a new 3 fight contract with the ufc. If he signs, he will return and face brock lesnar. I've heard that the only way he will sign the deal is if the ufc works out a contract deal with M-1 global to co promote the Fedor-Couture fight. Unless everyone has been sleeping under a rock lately, the Fedor-Couture fight WILL happen in the UFC! Dana White won't let the fight happen anywhere else as we have seen over the past year. I guarantee we see the fight over the next 6 months! As far as Randy vs. Brock, this is a very hard call. Couture has the experience and probably a little more ability but Brock is like a mutant Couture. I honestly am a little disappointed with Couture so I would love to see Brock destroy him. The only problem is if randy loses to brock is the Fedor-Couture fight still going to be as desirable? Brock vs. Fedor? (That would be an exciting fight however long it would last lol!) |

I am not a Lesnar fan at all, but that is a BIG HW. He has to cut to make weight, the only other person that I know had to do that was Sylvia, and he's like 6'8."
He looked pretty good against Herring, but Randy is a different kind of beast. Should be a good fight for either way. |
