Anyone that thinks that Lesnar is deserving of a title shot after having only 3 pro MMA fights is insane. This isn't the IFL or EliteXC. We are talking about the best MMA organization in the world.

Also, Kimbo didn't even get a title shot yet, and he has already had 3 EliteXC fights? It is a joke that he is getting one right now. I think it has more to do with timing than skills, that is clear.

I agree, there's so many other heavyweights grinding out win after win for the UFC and he gets a shot after only three pro fights, only one being against an actual contender.

The travesty would be if he won, think how many pissed off fighters there's gonna' be, Kenny Florian etc.

As much as I don't like Lesnar and think that him getting a title shot this soon is bad for MMA, the one thing that he does have going for him is that he is just do damn big.

How many HWs out there have to actually cut to make 265? Only Slyvia that I know of, and he is 6'8."

Where in any of my posts did I say anything about him deserving a title shot?! I said he is a good fighter and the fact that he is getting a title shot in only his 4th mma fight is phenomenal! I never said whether he deserved on or not.......I did say that people better then you obviously think he does. Fuckin' idiots just talking shit and don't even know what you're talking about......read something first huh

I don't really see how Brock getting this fight and or possibly winning the fight would be a mockery of the sport. There are times in every sport where an athlete comes around who is considered a phenom. An athlete who is able to learn, adapt, and quickly make a name. Has Brock without a shadow of a doubt proved himself to be a world class MMA HW? NO. But, has he done enough within the ranks of the UFC to be considered a contender for the HW title? YES. Let us take a look at the current UFC HW roster, you be the judge. Aside from Mir, and Nog, who is there really? Werdum? Possibly

Brock in his first 2 fights in the UFC fought 2 of toughest HWs in the division. He pounded the shit out of Mir, and almost stopped him, but in experience got the best of him. He destroyed Herring, who has been a solid HW for many years, and Herring almost stopped Nog.

If Brock was en ex football player and came into MMA, would he be getting the same shit from MMA fans? I think because he happened to be a WWE wrestler, "which most people consider to be laughable", it changes perception. I think Randy is going to have a very tough time with Brock. It is going to be a very interesting fight.

UFC Roster

Gonzaga Gabriel 9-3-0
Hardonk Antoni 7-4-0
Herring Heath 28-14-0
Kongo Cheick 22-4-1
McCully Justin 8-4-2
O'Brien Jake 10-2-0
Velasquez Cain 4-0-0
Wain Neil 5-0-0
Wellisch Christian 9-3-0
Werdum Fabricio 11-3-1

Good point "MrCalkins". Brock hasn't fought some clowns his fought accomplished fighters and no one in HW division has really done anything to say they should be in that spot (except for maybe Werdum). Everyone hates him cuz WWE antics by saying a lot shit but It's not like he cant back it up. Miar was fucked until Lesnar gave him his leg. Everyone acts like they are giving the Belt... He still has to FIGHT!!! He has to fight a the real CHAMP not some clown.

Lets be serious here, Herring is not a top heavy weight, in any organization. No offense to him, he puts on a decent show and all but he isn't any good anymore.

Now that that's out of the way I'd like to point a few things out. I don't care if he played tiddly-winks before joining the UFC, he doesn't deserve a shot. How many other fighters get a shot after one loss and one win. None!

You can all try and Pull the 'Silva only had one win' card out of your arse but Silva was fighting top competition in Pride before his UFC days, Lesnar was acting before his UFC days. Difference, a little.

I agree. Comparing Anderson's path and Lesnar's path to the title are much different. That is crazy to compare the two.

This and the Florian/Stevenson fight are the only two relevant fights coming up in the next month. fight night is a waste, good thing it's free, and UFC 89 will suck.
