Gina Carano (Pictured) hasn’t been seen inside of a mixed martial arts cage since getting steamrolled by Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos in the most anticipated female scrap in history on August, 15 2009. While her MMA career is currently in jeopardy courtesy of a budding career on the silver screen, Carano has remained one of the hottest names on the fighting scene.
Speaking of HOTNESS, Carano is currently on a nationwide promotional tour pumping her upcoming movie, Haywire. One of her pit stops placed her in front of GQ’s cameras for a sexy photo shoot.
The GQ spread certainly isn’t the first time Carano was acknowledged for her physical appeal. In May 2009, “Conviction” was ranked #16 in Maxim’s Hot 100 list. Five months later, she scored the cover of ESPN the Magazine’s “The Body” issue sporting nothing but booty shorts and a pair of MMA gloves.
As far as returning to the sport where she made her claim to fame, how the mainstream world responds to her performance in Haywire may likely play a significant role in her decision. The movie debuts across America on January 20th.
In the meantime, you’re welcome:
