“UFC on FUEL TV: Silva vs. Stann” took place Saturday night inside Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
Fans simply have to “Like” the UFC’s Facebook page in order to watch the scraps live. FX will then broadcast the night’s six featured fights live in America at 10PM ET/7PM PT.
Wanderlei Silva returned to where his superstardom started and battled Brian Stann in the show’s featured attraction. Heavyweights Stefan Struve and Mark Hunt met in the co-main event.

Hyun Gyu Lim Defeats Marcelo Guimares vi KO (Knee) at 4:00 in the 2ndRound
1stRound: Lim lands a knee to the chest as Guimares tries to shoot. The Korean is using his jab nicely to keep the distance. Guimares answers with an uppercut. Lim continues to stuff every takedown attempt. He eats and overhand right. Body shot by Lim. Lim tires a careless flying and and gets taken down that likely cost him the round. Guimares, 10-9.
2ndRound: Big side kick to the body by Guimares. Lim thwarts another takedown attempt and connects with a knee to the dome on the way up. Lim starting to find his groove with his lands, but is a tad careless and gets planted on his back. Lim gets to his feet and eats an overhand right. Lim flattens him with a knee to the grill. He follows Guimares to the mat and lands one additional punch to seal the deal.
Alex Caceres Defeats Kyung Ho Kang via Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)
1stRound: Kang gets a body lock and drags him to the ground within seconds. The Korean advances to side control. Caceres wiggles free. Kang picks him up and slams him to the mat, but almost gets caught in a leg lock on the way down. Caceres gets to his feet, but Kang is all over him and takes him right back down. Kang had his back for a moment, though Caceres reverses and is now in top position. Kang takes the dominant spot right back. Kang, 10-9.
2ndRound: Caceres is staring up at the ceiling in a matter of seconds. Caceres gets to his feet. Kang nails him with a right hook. Caceres clinches him against the fence. Kang takes him down again. Caceres tries an armbar from off his back to no avail. Caceres captures top position off a scramble. He’s really active with his ground attack. He’s a little reckless and gets taken down again. “Bruce Leeroy” really needs to work on his takedown D… Kang, 10-9.
3rdRound: Kang stumbles on a takedown attempt and Caceres jumps on him. He’s laying the lumber. Caceres slaps on a guillotine choke, but lets go. Knees to the body by Caceres . Kang powers through and plants his opponent on his back (again). Caceres reverses and is dropping down punches. Caceres gets full mount for a moment. Kang nails him with an upkick. Kang is gassed. Caceres, 10-9, but likely lost, 29-28.
Kazuko Tokudome Defeats Cristiano Marcello via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
1stRound: Marcello eats a knee to the midsection, but fires back with two right hands that wobble Tokudome. Tokudome answers with a powerful right hand. Marcello slips on a head kick and Tokudome gets in his guard and is working some ground-and-pound. Marcello is active with submission attempts from off his back. Tokudome, 10-9.
2ndRound: Tokudome trips him to the mat within seconds. Tokudome landing several bombs from the top. Tokudome is very active with his assault, nothing too devastating, though. The referee stands them up for some reason. Marcello charges forward and scores a brief takedown. Tokudome tags him with a flurry at as the horn blares. Tokudome, 10-9.
3rdRound: Tokudome drops him with a vicious left and pounces. Marcello is holding on. It appears Marcello has recovered, but he’s still looking up at the lights. Marcello gets to his feet. Tokudome unloads a knee to the midsection. Marcello has him clinched against the cage, but it’s Tokudome who secures the takedown. Tokudome, 10-9, and runs the table, 30-27.
Takeya Mizugaki Defeats Bryan Caraway via Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
1stRound: Caraway has him clinched against the fence. Mizugaki plants him on his back for a brief moment. Caraway scores a takedown for a split second. Mizugaki appears to be winning the standup battle. Caraway eats a left hook. Caraway secures a takedown and takes his back with 20 seconds left. Close round to score. Mizugaki, 10-9.
2ndRound: They exchange leather. Caraway working hard for a takedown. Mizugaki has been warned for grabbing the fence. He gets to his feet. Mizugaki lands a nasty liver shot. Caraway drops him with a right and slaps on a guillotine choke from top position. Mizugaki escapes, but is forced to give up his back. Caraway gets a body triangle and is going for his patented rear-naked choke. Mizugaki doing a great job of defending submissions. Caraway, 10-9.
3rdRound: Caraway’s corner tells (girlfriend Miesha Tate) him he’s up 2-0 and can coast. I don’t know about that… Mizugaki floors Caraway with a left hand. Caraway gets back to his feet. Mizugaki clock him with a left uppercut. Another left hook by Mizugaki. Caraway is clearly the more winded fighter. He tags Mizugaki with a right uppercut, but takes a left in response. Caraway has him clinched against the fence. Left hook by Mizugaki. He clobbers Caraway with one final left hook for good measure. Mizugaki, 10-9, and likely won, 29-28.
Brad Tavares Defeats Riki Fukuda via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
1stRound: Jon Fitch is cornering Fukuda for the first time as a non-UFC fighter. Awkward… Fukuda trips him to the ground and lands some punches. Tavares fights to his feet. Big head kick by Tavares. Fukuda answers with a right hand. Tavares starting to find his rhythm. Close stanza to score. Tavares, 10-9.
2ndRound: Fukuda clinches him against the cage. Both fighters cut underneath their left eyes. Tavares looks very comfortable on his feet. Fukuda may have hurt his left hand in the opening round, the lefty isn’t using it at all. Tavares, 10-9.
3rdRound: Fukuda tags him with a left hand, but it’s clearly injured. Not much action thus far in the final frame. Fukuda is still pressing forward. They exchange leg kicks. Fukuda, 10-9, but likely lost, 29-28.

Dong Hyun Kim Defeats Siyar Bahadurzada via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
1stRound: Head kick by Kim. Solid left hand by the Korean. He plants Bahadurzada on his back. Kim advances to full mount. He’s unloading countless punches and elbows, nothing too devastating. Bahadurzada gets to his feet, but Kim jumps on his back. Kim, 10-9.
2ndRound: Bahadurzada stuffs one takedown attempt, but isn’t about to thwart the second try. Kim quickly moves to side control. Kim takes his back and lands some punches to the dome. He moves back to full mount. Bahadurzada isn’t offering much right now. Kim, 10-9.
3rdRound: Japanese fans have learned how to boo. Interesting. Kim tosses him on his back with the greatest of ease. He lands in side control, now full mount. Kim is trying to lock in an arm triangle choke. He unloads some knees to the body to soften Bahadurzada up. Kim bails on the submission attempt and is dropping some serious ground-and-pound. Kim, 10-9, and cruises, 30-27.
Rani Yahya Defeated Mizuto Hirota via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
1stRound: Yahya immediately gets a takedown and attempts a couple of submissions to no avail. Hirota reversed for a brief moment. Yahya is back on top and is very aggressive with his attack. The jiu jitsu specialist is doing his thing on the mat, but isn’t able to finish things. Yahya, 10-9.
2ndRound: Yahya instantly puts Hirota on his back. Yahya slaps on an arm triangle choke. Hirota dodges the bullet, but is still on the bottom. Yahya now raining down punches. Yahya, 10-9.
3rdRound: Hirota easily stuffs several takedown attempts before Yahya secures a single. Hirota transitions into a triangle attempt and then shifts to an armbar before Yahya escapes and takes his back. Hirota gets back to his feet and throws a flying knee that an exhausted Yahya is able to avoid. Hirota, 10-9.
Yushin Okami Defeats Hector Lombard via Split Decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28)
1stRound: Lombard throws a hard leg kick, but Okami catches it and takes him down. Okami lands a kick to Lombard’s body and follows it up with a stiff jab. Okami scores another takedown. Okami, 10-9.
2ndRound: Big knee to the midsection by Okami. Lombard eats a right hand. The former Bellator champion is having trouble closing the distance. Okami connects with a one-two combo. Lombard counters with a left hook. Okami completes a single-leg takedown. “Thunder” advances to full mount, but only has 30 ticks to work. Okami, 10-9.
3rdRound: Lombard comes out with a greater sense of urgency. Okami is taking several bombs to he dome. Okami finally answers with a knee in the clinch. Okami stumbles to the mat and Lombard falls on top of him. Okami working relentlessly to reverse, eating punches all the while. Lombard should let him back up and make this a shootout again. They’re back standing. Okami’s shot gets stuffed and Lombard falls on top of him. He should let Okami back up. Lombard, 10-9, but should lose the fight, 29-28.
Diego Sanchez Defeats Takanori Gomi via Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
1stRound: Gomi catches a kick and clocks him with a right hand. He follows up with a right hook. Gomi takes a kick to the groin and time is called. Game on. Sanchez takes him down. Gomi gets back to his feet. Kick to the midsection by Sanchez. Gomi nails him with a knee to the stomach, but gets taken down for his efforts. Sanchez tries a kneebar to no avail. They are back to their feet. Gomi tags in with a violent body shot. Gomi kicks him in the body right before the horn blares. Gomi, 10-9.
2ndRound: Gomi really attacking the body now. He lands a stiff right jab. Sanchez stuffs a takedown. Gomi tags him in the liver. Sanchez lands another groin kick and gets a warning. Gomi staring to punish Sanchez’s lead leg. Gomi thwarts a takedown attempt. Gomi is controlling this fight. Gomi, 10-9.
3rdRound: Sanchez charges the center of the Octagon. They exchange combinations. Sanchez is visibly frustrated. I guess he should be, he was a 2.5-to-1 odds-on favorite. Sanchez flurries just before the final horn. He raises his hand in victory. Not so sure about that… Gomi, 10-9, and should have swept the cards, 30-27.

Mark Hunt Defeated Stefan Struve via TKO (Punches) at 1:44 in the 3rdRound
1stRound: Hunt comes out swinging, but connects with nothing but air. Hunt gets a body lock and Struve pulls guard. Struve easily sweeps. He advances to full mount and is laying the lumber. Hunt gives up his back. Struve is going for an armbar. Hunt escapes and scrambles to top position. Hunt moves to side control. Struve, 10-9.
2ndRound: Hunt clocks him with a left hook. Struve finally using his jab to keep his opponent at bay. Hunt lands an overhand right. Hunt closing the distance and starting to land a barrage of punches. Hunt tosses him to the mat. Struve attempts a leg lock to no avail. Hunt tried to get back up, but Struve pulls him back into his guard. Hunt slides to side control. They are back standing. Stuve plants him on his back. He moves to full mount and is dropping bombs. Struve misses on an armbar and ends up on the bottom. Hunt, 10-9.
3rdRound: Hunt nails him with a vicious left hook. He follows up with a one-two combo. Sturve finally returns fire with a head kick. Hunt is having target practice on Struve’s face. He drops Struve with right hand-left hook combo. Hunt walks away as if the scrap is over, but referee Herb Dean never stepped in. He tells Hunt to keep fighting, then stops the bout as Hunt goes back to engage.
Wanderlei Silva Defeats Brian Stann via KO (Punches) at 4:08 in the 2ndRound
1stRound: Stann comes out like a house on fire. He slips to the mat and Silva returns the favor. Silva lands a knee to the midsection. Stann wobbles Silva with a punch. They are standing in the pocket and flinging heavy leather. Stann staggers Silva again. Silva takes a shot to the groin and time is called. Game on. Stann is bleeding from his nose. Silva connects with a right hook. What a flurry. Stann briefly drops Silva, who then momentarily floored Stann. They fall to the mat with Stann on top. Stann is gushing blood from his nose. Stann, 10-9.
2ndRound: Overhand right by Silva. The pace has slowed, as expected after that early barn burner. Silva takes another kick to the groin and time is called. Game on. Silva backs him up with a straight right. Head kick by Silva. Silva drops him with a violent right hand-left hook combo. “The Axe Murderer” pounces and unleashes a couple more bombs on the canvas. It’s a wrap.
