UFC middleweight, Thales Leites, will be added to the UFC 90 card scheduled to take place on October 25th in Rosemont, Illinois. Leites’ opponent will be Goron Reljic, who is coming off an impressive UFC debut at UFC 84. UFC 90 will be headlined by reigning UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, who will be defending his title against Patrick Cote.

Initially, Leites was scheduled to face UFC veteran Dean Lister at UFC Fight Night 15 in September, however Lister was forced to pull out due to an injury.

MMAWeekly.com confirmed with sources close to the fighters that contracts are all signed and submitted to the UFC offices.

Leites is coming off of a controversial win over Nate Marquardt in his last outing at UFC 85. Marquardt had dominated much of the fight, but was deducted a point for illegal blows on two separate occasions. Even with the point deductions, Leites was barely able to squeak by with a split decision victory.

Reljic, was very impressive in his UFC 84 debut, TKO’ing Wilson Gouveia in the 2ndRound.

Here are the other fighters rumored to be competing on UFC 90:

Thales Leites vs. Goron Reljic
Hermes Franca vs. Gleison Tibau
Spencer Fisher vs. Melvin Guillard
Junior “Cigano” dos Santos vs. Fabricio Werdum
Tyson Griffin vs. Sean Sherk
Diego Sanchez vs. Thiago Alves
Patrick Cote vs. Anderson Silva (UFC Middleweight Champion)
