Saturday marks the biggest day in the life of a UFC star.
The fighter will walk down the aisle and change their future forever.
No, I’m not talking about UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor boxing Floyd Mayweather. I’m referring to former UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey getting married to UFC heavyweight Travis Browne.
The only problem is, who will now be Rousey’s maid of honor since UFC president Dana White has to work in Vegas?
White, Rousey’s BFF since signing her in 2013, was faced with a tough decision. Unfortunately for Rousey, she lost the friend face-off and White will be supporting his new cash cow against Mayweather.
“Ronda Rousey gets married tomorrow,” White said on the Rich Eisen Show. “Tomorrow is her wedding. She’s in a good place, she’s happy and hasn’t announced her retirement or anything like that, but she’s focusing on this wedding.
“Of all the days. She said, ‘I’m getting married. Will you come to the wedding?’ I said, ‘Absolutely.’ The wedding’s tomorrow.”
Obviously, Rousey understands White’s No RSVP. There are hundreds on millions of dollars on the line tomorrow so White needs to be as close to the action as possible.
It is believed Rousey and Browne will tie the knot in Hawaii.
It’s unknown what present White gave the soon-to-be happily married couple. Whatever it is, it better be a good one considering all the money she made the UFC during her dominant reign.
August 28, 2017 – a day that will live in combat sports infamy.
