This week, Affliction Entertainment went on an intense two-day, bi-coastal U.S. tour to promote their upcoming “Affliction:Trilogy” event. Although the August 1st show is still two months out, the star-studded card is beginning to take shape and it looks nasty.

Most are already well aware of the night’s highly anticipated main event between WAMMA champ Fedor Emelianenko and Josh Barnett. Barnett’s physical presence, along with his polished overall MMA skills, might be the perfect combo to put the Russian’s eight-year, 26-fight winning streak in jeopardy.

“This is the fight the world has been wanting to see. Anybody that knows MMA knows that this is the ultimate match-up,” Atencio told 5thRound.com in an exclusive interview. “Both are fantastic mixed martial artists, as well as friends, so it’s going to be an exciting night.”

Opening for that heavyweight clash will be Stirkeforce champ Renato “Babalu” Sobral taking on Dream middleweight superstar Gegard Mousasi in a light heavyweight battle. This will mark Mousasi’s third weight class in as many fights.

Atencio also confirmed that MMA fans will once again have access to Affliction’s entire fight card as all of the evening’s prelims will be airing LIVE for the low price of $Free.99 on HDNet, however you will have to whip out your credit card if you wanna see the goods on pay-per-view beginning at 9PM EDT/6PM PDT.

Thus far, here is the roster Rumored to be featured inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California:
