“UFC 129: St-Pierre vs. Shields” will take place April 30th in front of 55,000 screaming Canadian fanboys. Unfortunately for our neighbors up north, the Gambling Gods profess the main card won’t be very competitive.
Of the five fights scheduled to appear in the pay-per-view portion of the record-setting show, four of them feature significant favorites. Oh, and don’t even think about betting on either of the two champions unless you’re willing to drop some massive coin.
UFC featherweight king Jose Aldo is a heavy 4.5-to-1 favorite to dispose of Mark Hominick in the card’s co-featured contest, while Georges St-Pierre is a whopping 5-to-1 odds-on favorite to steamroll Jake Shields in the night’s main event.
UFC 129 will be held inside the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada.
