“Bellator 46” Results

“Bellator 46” took place Saturday night inside the the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Pat Curran, Marlon Sandro, Nazareno Malegarie and Ronnie Mann each advanced to the semifinals of the company’s featherweight tournament.

Curran secured his spot in the next round with a seldom-seen Peruvian necktie submission in tonight’s main event. Ironically, he tapped out Peruvian fighter Luis Palomino.

This evening’s show marked the first leg of Bellator’s three-part Summer Series. The tourney resumes with the next round on July 23rd at Bellator 47.

The finals go down August 20th at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
